“Little Big” is a promising Russian group with great ambitions, which is actively promoting the direction of the rave. English-language videos, viral songs of the guys are designed to make the Russian group known throughout the world. And the plans of the musicians come true, because the concerts of "Little Big" are extremely popular, and their videos immediately gain millions of views.

April Fool's joke

The founder of the group is Ilya Prusikin, known as video blogger Ilyich. As a joke on April 1, he uploaded a YouTube video for the song “Everyday I'm Drinking”. Prior to this, the blogger participated in several emo and rock bands, but real success came to him in 2013 after a provocative video. After that, Ilyich and his friends were asked to perform at the opening act during the concert of the band “Die Antwoord”, although the guys had only one song ready. For a month they rehearsed another 6 songs and after a successful performance, the active promotion of the Little Big group began.

In addition to frontman Ilya Prusikin, the group includes Sergey Gokk Makarov, Sofia Tayurskaya and Anton Lissov. Participants Anna Kast and Olympia Ivleva left the group for their own projects. In 2014, the current line-up presented its debut album “With Russia From Love”, which included 12 tracks. The musicians also filmed new interesting clips that quickly became popular. Moreover, the guys began to call to European countries, their concerts in France, Belgium, Germany were unusually successful, tickets for performances scattered. The landmark work of 2015 was the video for the song “Give me your money”, which in the next 2016 took third place in one of the nominations of the famous festival “Berlin Music Video Awards”.

The new album “Funeral Rave” was released at the end of 2015, it included 9 tracks - and in the same year the album took fifth place in the Russian Google Play. One of the songs of the 2nd album “Big dick” became notorious for its provocative clip, which not only turned into a virus, but also became the winner of the most trash nomination “Berlin Music Video Awards”. Although the video contains a lot of frank images, it is still a parody of the consumer attitude not only to sex, but also to the human body in general, because it is used as one of the best ways of advertising.

In 2017, on its 4th anniversary, the band released the single “Rave on”. However, 2018 was a landmark for the group. It was then that the vocalist Olympia Ivleva left the group, but at the same time the LollyBomb video clip at the Global Film Festival Awards in the USA won the Best Music Video nomination, which became one of the most important achievements of the group and speaks of the demand for this style of music. Then, in 2018, the album "Antipositive" was released, and it came out in parts. The first part was accompanied by a clip for “Punks Not Dead”, and the second with a clip “Skibidi”, which received platinum status in early 2019. In the same 2018, together with the star of the group “Hands Up” Sergey Zhukov “Little Big” released a clip “Boys Slam”, full of frank banter.

The grotesque is never too much

“Little Big” position itself as a satirical art collaboration that makes quality shows. They consider their primary principle not rock music, but electronic music.
